On June 10th, I was accepted to a 1-month 200-hour Teacher Training course at Yoga Garden here in San Francisco. It'll be intense--6 days a week, full-time with only Sundays off. It will be a challenge, but I can't wait! To prepare myself best for a year abroad, I want to be fully in-tune with my body and feel able to continue my yoga practice without the guidance of a teacher. This should serve me very well for life. I just paid my full tuition, and after my little vacation with the parental units, I'll be expanding my mind, body and spirit.
Wish me luck!
I've been wanting to do some Yoga myself. Hope you have fun and.. GOOD LUCK!! : )
ReplyDeleteGood luck my friend
ReplyDeleteThat's totally awesome! I would love to yoga sometime. That course you're talking about sounds intense though so yes, good luck making it through that!
ReplyDeleteI highly recommend trying yoga. If you find it's not quite great, try another teacher. The difference between a great instructor and a bad one makes all the difference.
ReplyDeleteI need to get in better shape, but I don't think my body is quite limber enough for some of those yoga poses.
ReplyDeleteFlexibility isn't necessary, in fact, it's easier to teach someone who is less flexible than someone who is very flexible.
